Where can I get the round mirrors that sit under the bars and closer to the centre of the bar? I see people with them and all I can find are var end mirrors but can't see how the bracket will fit as my sxv550 has over sized bars.

Thankssss

Hi,

This might help you

https://www.ktmforum.co.uk/supermoto/51046-underbar-mirrors-where-buy.html

Attach to clamp like this = https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/390727268062?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&lpid=95&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=95&ff19=0

I'd measure how thick your bars are and see if any chinese mirrors from ebay will fit

I have a round mirror mounted under the handlebar.A friend has this on their Supermoto and I preferred this to one on the top by the master cylinder,as all that I could see were my elbows Thumbs Down

The MoT tester quibled about the positioning of the wingmirror last Saturday, but there is nothing that says it must be mounted on the top of the handlebar Rolling Eyes

I think these are the ones that I have (a friend got them for me via eblay). They are mounted directly onto the handlebar, which is the option with these mirrors.

There's nothing saying it even has to have one.

Unless they're fouling the bodywork/tank, the mirrors are none of the MOT testers business.

Thanks. That's exact what I want but just can't see how I can mount them onto my bars!!?? My bars look too fat for these mounting.

The MoT guy asked how much I could see out of the mirror, to be fair!

The set on my bike (the pink-plated xr in Fizzer's picture above) came with bar clamps, with a bit of careful placement I managed to make them fit but its really tight on the bars. I got a pair for £20 from eBay but had to use a combination of left and right clamps to make one mirror fit on so I can only actually fit the right one. It works pretty nicely but sometimes I have to turn around to check behind me properly.

Its better than nothing!

We'll my handle bars are like 33mmish so I'm going to struggle to get some. I'll have a look see if anyone has some slightly bigger ones. I had to modify the clamps for my hand guards Rolling Eyes

All stock mirrors of SM's I've owned have been crap, I have settled on this:

I just use one on the right. Have previously used the same mirrors on fat bars, it makes no difference as they all are the same size near the controls where I mount the mirror.
