I will be doing my Mod 1 Training on the 2nd and test on the 3rd.

and Mod 2 training a week later on those days.

I think I'll do fine just adjusting to a bigger bike.

Was also wondering what to expect?

I did mine on the 12/13th and got my mod 2 on the 3rd with the training on the second.

I loved it, the transition to the bigger bike was easy, it's got a lot more power and is heavier but that can work to your advantage. They use friendly bikes for the learner stuff.

The mod 1 is simple. It's nerve wracking but try not to overthink it all. It's only about 10 minutes and over in a jiffy

was like that with the Theory but I passed easy.

I asked what bikes they used and they said the ER6N i think was but they might be getting some Triumphs in to soon.

Or you can learn on a Harley......................

To be pefectly honest - aim to enjoy it. The worst that can happen is you fail the test and retake it.

I really enjoyed the majority of my training, learnt a lot and also felt more confident being observed in serious situation. Weight and power is what you make it - if you slump the bike over at a standing position you will keel over easier, but its not 'heavy' if you keep it in a sensible stance.

Same with speed and acceleration - it goes fast if you twist fast - keep it sensible and you and the bike will ride sensibly. And you will pass https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7sahsed5Wi8/T5-GGaG3nUI/AAAAAAAABZE/vkFv6IspqcA/s1600/true-story.png

A cruiser style bike would not be a good choice for Mod1. They're much less stable at slow speeds. Jiust do your training on a standard 600cc bike, keep it simple. If your going to do your Mods on a novelty bike like a Harley you might as well pitch up to your Mod1 wearing a Mankini..

Mod 1 is easy, takes ten minutes and you know exactly what is expected of you. You can either do the manouvers or not. Nerves are what kill people on their Mod1.

Mod 2 is trikier as its out on the road which is more dynamic. Again nerves are your worst enemy but you can reduce that factor by seeing the Mod2 as an assesment rather than a test. Accept you may have to do it again and listen to the examiners de-brief afterwards, really grill them afterwards it shows you take them seriously and if you get the same examiner next time that might help them pass you. Don't tell everyone you're doing your Mods either. You're just creating a bigger audience to look over your shoulder. The Modules are not really very expensive, not raelly a big deal (most people pass in a couple of goes) and look at it this way, Mod 2 takes less time than your weekly supermarket shop and probably costs less.

I never wish people luck, you won't need it, just do what your instructor tells you.

Ha no way I'll be riding a Harley lol. I'll be on a ER6N I think it is.

I know people might give me a bollocking but I've done 4 CBT's and every time I do it they say I ride and at a very high standard for a CBT and reckon I'll pass easily.

For me it's just adjusting to a bigger bike. Only take me 5-10 mins to do

I'm only doing
Mod1 training
Mod1 test
Mod2 training
Mod2 test.

They said I wouldn't need any more then that so I guess it's a good thing
