hey guys I am going to buy a replacement side tail piece for my bike, but to do this I need the paint code so that I get the correct colour.

However the code sticker has rubbed off my bike and I need someone with the same bike as me to tell me it.

My bike is a 1998 tricolour NSR, and for anyone that does not know the paint code is located on the left bar of the subframe when you lift up the seat, it should be on a blue/green sticker sort of thing.

Thanks for any replies.

Just a warning,.... the red paint code that is under the seat for my bike is actually wrong.
I went to a professional place to get it made up, which they did, and it came out definately the wrong shade.
They said that paint code stickers on bike were not the most reliable of things!

I take it that means you will be buying the stickers for the tail piece as well. Do you know how much they are?

Na I asked in Motorcycle Parts and Accessories on the oxford road (small shop only sells parts) and they said around £150 for the pannel and I suppose this is from honda and will be painted & stickers all ready.

But i know in MTC also on the Oxford road and a registered Honda Dealer that they have just brought a new slide for there crappy old machine so that they are able to look for you (probably)
