For me, autoglym/muc-off products, whatever you like the look of really most are equal quality. I've got a muc off brush set which is handy for getting into various crevices and cleaning around the engine area.
Bag of lint-free clothes off ebay or similar for polishing/cleaning chain etc, toothbrushes, sponges, 2 buckets. One for the mucky shit that gets all oiley and full of shite and one for the clean water.
That being said I rarely bother using any of that stuff anymore and just wipe it with a wet kitchen towel when it gets bird shit on it Its nice having a clean bike, but the time required and frustration it causes when its covered in road dust/winter shite straight after washing it makes it seem pointless in the UK most of the time. |

I find paraffin an excellent degreaser and cheaper than WD40. Not sure how bad it is for brakes though. |

As aforementioned, WD-40 is good, but mainly for chrome/shiny parts. Shines up my YBR great, and stops the exposed metal bits like the bolts from rusting ____________________ Current Bike: 2008 Yamaha YBR 125 |
