Not sure this post is in the right place, sorry if it's not.

Hi all, I've a YBR, an allotment and a fork and spade. How can I carry the tools to and from the allotment until I have put up a shed?

The only thing I can think of is strapping them to my back, possibly in a back pack with added straps. They would be quite tall unless I slung them diagonally.

Any Ideas ?

Hey, yeah youre probably best strapping in a backpack or you coud strap them diagonally to the back of the bike & remember not to filter.

Safer and easier to make some sort of polythene bag/cover to stow them in at the allotment imo.

I'm all for easier and safer. I guess wrapped in poly and hidden up is as safe as they're going to get, shed or not. I'm going to go for it.
Unfortunately the weather has taken a turn for the worse here so I'll have to lay in bed a bit longer contemplating all that digging Wink
