best heat resistant matt black paint

My bike was damaged in the last storm we had, I have vanc & hines black exhaust covers which have been scratched, Its only cosmetic so I presume I can remove the covers and get them resprayed? wanting them matt black , any recommendations?

I will also have to respray my fork covers in a matt gun metal as one of them was scraped badly too.

I used Hycoat matt black and it worked great on my rat Whole bike including exhaust was sprayed with it and it looked fine 3 months later

If they're covers, like heat shields, will they get up to temperature to cure the BBQ/heat paint?

I can see that temperature to cure can be got on an actual exhaust. Just checking on the covers.

I've done a shield on a friends bike for him with the paint before and we oven-baked it that time as we weren't sure either. If your shields wouldn't fit in an oven or you don't want to stink the kitchen out you can probably stove it with a torch if you heat it slowly in short bursts. If you do it too fast it will just flake and crack off, same with painting anywhere too near the engine on the downpipes where it heats up rapidly once the engines running.

Hammerite Heat Resistant paint will do the job nicely. That's what my FZ750 rat has on the engine:
