Agree with G here, a circa 50bhp+ old school open classer, with old school brakes and suspension is going to be some handful even for a fairly good skilled rider.
I expect it to be a sod to maintain and get easy spares for, and kick starting big 2strokes that may not be in the peak of condition engine wise is inherently dangerous if she kicks back!
Definitely some commitment and respect is needed. Start getting too jiggy with a bike like this and it will end in tears or hospital IMO!
Good luck though!
p.s. An awesome bike too, but one that's probably nicer to look at than to ride, a bit like a Kawasaki H1 for example. |

'80's motocross & enduro bikes are now making big money as they are being bought up by the enthusiasts and restored.
If you can find one cheaply then it could be a good investment, but remember parts will be scarce, mainly discontinued by the manufacturer. Sourcing and replacing parts is likely to be time consuming and costly. ____________________ 1988 Kawasaki KMX 200
