I'm thinking of getting a fiat seicento for a little get-around car. Only thing is, they are very small (which I like) but look 'pissy'. I already have some ideas of what I'm going to do to the little 1.1 engine to make it a bit more nipps, but do any of you know any sites that do nice body kits for them (maybe not a full kit, but sideskirts, Etc.)...

Also, if anyone has ever or does own one (apart from a bike Razz ) what are they like?

Hi

Fairly amount you can do to them. Probably worth picking up a copy of Auto Italia. There is a German company that was doing turbo kits for them to take them up to 110hp, and I saw one a few weeks back with a nitrous oxide kit fitted. Also I think the 6 speed gearbox out of one version of the original Fiat Punto will fit in quite easily.

All the best

Keith

Wow, I didn't realise. Thats brilliant!

I was going to get something like a fiesta, but, the seicento is just nicer in my opion (performance, interior, and... newer)

Hi

My sister has a Seicento sporting. I have driven it a couple of times. For a little car they are quite fun and spares are cheap. I managed to get a bit over 100 indicated out of hers but that was pushing it quite hard.

They are also dirt cheap to insure (but probably not when fitted with a turbo kit), as I think they are group 3.

They have had to replace a few bits on hers. Water pump went and we suspect she over heated it as the head gasket went shortly afterwards. Couple of rear suspension bushes were gone when she bought it (2nd hand, for about £2k).

All the best

Keith
