.... Are playing the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff on Wednesday. There are tickets in the upper tiers left they are £45.

Rumour has it that not only are Girlschool supporting, but the Pixies (Dance! Dance!) and James Brown are making appearances.
I'd be interested to know if anyone is going, I may be working at the stadium that night...

I think 'RiderOfTheStorm' said he was going to see them on the wednesday in Cardiff in the Glastonbury thread.

Bendy, G, Goose, TNO and others are going to see them in Hyde Park tonight too.

... and a better crowd.

I thought James brown was ok.
Just a bit annoying that he did the exact same set, word for word, at Glastonbury as well.

Nah, some of the crowd were proper moody Welsh gits who weren't enjoying themselves. Luckily I'd managed to buy a seat surrounded by mad girls, so we had a cool dancing time Thumbs Up

James Brown was quite funny, I really thought his hair was going to take off and dance by itself. Very Happy Sound was excellent as was my view - hats off the the Millenium Stadium for the organisation, and cheers to whichever random guy kept supplying my new friend Cath and myself with scrummy pints.

Don't have any complaint about the concert to be honest. The sound system and the light show was quality. The atmosphere was great too and everyone seemed to be enjoying. In a crowd of 70,000 people you can expect that there will be a few idiots there though. My friend saw them in Edinburgh a few day before and he said the concert was shocking and there was a crap atmosphere there. Apparently he left early it was so bad.
