whats wrong with this law? it means there will be less drunk drivers on the road, to me it sounds like a good idea, it protects you and other drivers, so whats the problem with it? ____________________ brooooom, BROOOOommmm

I think it's a bloody good idea, just imagine campaigning against this so you have the right to drive pissed and take a chance on getting caught...... then some drunken arsehole mows down your wife and kid! DEAD!!!!!!! Now you’re on your own, the driver probably got a year or two and a slapped wrist…. you lost your family!!!!!! How much of a twat would you feel then????? |

Drink-driving is stupid and dangerous. However I don't believe measures like this are the appropriate way to tackle it.
It might seem like a fine idea in principle, but to me it's just another example of increasingly heavy-handed government.
Irrespective of whether the technology would actually work properly (I doubt it would), surely it is better to encourage people to take responsibility for their own lives?
Or, how about an IQ test before the car would start?
