I've got to move my bike to the garage, only thing is their van has broken down and I can't get anyone to move the thing
Anyone got any time on their hands tomorrow, (Saturday) or over the weekend? I've got to move an Aprilia RS125 from Crosby down Derby Road to the arches near the BMW garages.
Oh, and of course I'm willing to pay, not expecting friendly freebies. If anyone knows of a company that can help me also that'd be good.
Cheers

how much distance are we talking here?
apparently the only way to tow a bike is with another bike, the first has a suiteably strong line under their arm, the second hold on the line the same way, its supposedly the ONLY way, i guess iy you tied it down to the bike it would not give enough and youd be geting your arm pulled off, or if it got droped and caught in something i dunno...
so.. feeling brave? got to be better than pushing it right? ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

Are you joking zero?
I've tried pulling a bike with another bike, it doesn't work. Trying to do it by holding the rope is likely to be extremely dangerous and fairly illegal.
I was only towing another bike in an attempt to bump start it, in a straight line it kind of works, but corners just aren't going to happen. ____________________ Gallery |
