Sooner or later opinions fade and the name on the tank matters not. I think that happens somewhere between 3rd and 4th gear. Enjoy the ride... everything else takes care of itself.

It's hard to say if it is fast - I AM confident that the CBR was being ridden badly - so we can't really use that to judge.

In the end, cruisers are quite near to drag bikes, so SHOULD be fast in a straight line - but too much weight, lack of power (yes, that's power, not torque) and poor tyre choice all hold them back.

Because It has a 1543cc hi comp S&S engine in it, and the blade rider has all the launch skills of a potato.

Cheers

Makes bikes for those who want a more relaxed journey and not in too much of a rush; an arm chair on wheels. Preferably a journey with no corners.

Also G I believe if that is the same guy I think it is he was offering to race anyone who thought they were faster than his bike within reason.

The Harley is a device for those who wish to come out without the awkward bother of sitting their F&F down and going through the whole explanation rigmarole.

Completely off-topic but that reminds me there's a chippy I ride past on the back roads to Hull. It's called 'Frying Nemo'.

...well, it makes me smile Wink

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

The only choice for getting down to your local cowboy club for a spot of line dancing followed by a wank over a picture of John Wayne.

This makes me wonder what the dealers are like. Thinking
If I were to wander in wearing my everyday tassel-free textiles, closed face helmet and non-cowboy boots would they automatically assume I wasn't really interested in buying one and just ignore me?
Which comes first, the image or the bike?
