Hi guys,

This is quite a strange problem. If I turn my bike on it idles fine, if I pull the clutch in and select a gear, instantly the revs increase right up without using the throttle.

The only way to get it to stop is to select neutral and it returns to normal. I went for a very short ride to check for other effects and found that it was only capable of about 40mph and struggled with that up a slight hill.

There is no kangarooing and it sounds like the bike is reving correctly, just not getting the power to the wheels and this strange idle problem.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tom
