Here's one for you...

I'm rocking around on knobblies on the drz on the road and obviously they're getting worn very quickly. The grip is shit with them having such poor surface area anyway, so why not make knobblies out of a hard wearing plastic? They're shit on road anyway and would maintain grip offroad?

Or perhaps not plastic as it'd be like riding on ice I suppose, but a much harder compound.

Softer compounds are better offroad in most cases I think.

I have new looking excel rims/tyres that I was thinking of fitting to the ktm but not got around to it, made all the spacers etc but need the money atm. Inbox me if you're interested, I think they're off a drz so should fit. I can measure the bearing diameter etc though.

I was wondering if that would be the case but in wet cold mud I wouldn't have thought it would make a difference... who knows.

Yeh I'd be interested mate, stick some pics up Thumbs Up If they're not for me then Paddy was after some for his KTM too.

Ball ache in terms of having to flip the rear wheel as RS run right hand chain/sprocket.

Bearings and spacers, then the caliper mount. Shocked But, massive front disk, insane braking power with the smaller disk, sticky tyres, stoppies will be easy Laughing

Have you checked that you can actually buy the bearings with the correct ID and OD? I couldn't find any for mine so had to have a sleeve made to go over the old bearings. You can't just have them custom made either.
