Hi, would taking the exhaust can off of my NTV 650, be to loud to cope with or would it give a nice beefy sound, also would I need to re-jet it.

I've heard the sound on youtube and it sounds beefy like a Harley, which is a sound that I kind of like, but would it be so loud that it would be uncomfortable to drive and to hear?

Thanks.

I wouldn't be worried about the sound, i'd worry about the damage being caused while riding and the loss of power.

No end can = no back pressure = loss of power

It will also result in valve damage, why not buy/save up for a nice loud end can?

Been there, done that. It is fucking loud, and it idles like shit.

If you really want to do it, get two of these and stick them on the down pipes

Or these second hand ones might clean up ok......

Check the pipe sizes first though Thumbs Up

No. No it won't. You don't understand how harmonics or gases work. In all of my years on this planet someone has yet to explain "back pressure" to me, they're usually bludgeoning an explanation of standing waves and/or bullshitting.

OP. Your motor will be fine running without an end can if you're dead set on it, but it will need setting up, be fucking loud and draw unwanted attention.

Well my friend has a Honda H100, I was thinking of using the Baffles from his bike as he has two,and just shgve them in the exhaust to give it that nice beefy chopper sound, but keep it legally loud if you know what I mean.

We're yet to see if they fit but they seem like they would.
