It's from a Honda XLR 125, there's a Chinese copy of this engine which is the OHC 156FMI and Honda also made them under licence to other manufacturers.

Hi, i own a Daelim VJ 125 and i can tell you its not that engine. It would have Daelim on the cluch cover otherwise. Also it doesnt have the spark plug in the right place.

What manufacturer stamp is that on the engine cover? The picture is too blurry to make out.

I'm still convinced it's from a XLR 125, they look exactly the same although it could be a Chinese version as I said, I can't tell if the side case says Honda.

The model number will be stamped on the engine underneath the gear lever assuming it's not a stolen engine.

It's 100% not a CG engine, main differences this engine has a camshaft sprocket cover on the 1st pic meaning this has a overhead cam and is not a pushrods motor, you can also tell by the look of the rocker cover although the CG engine is from the same design family and shares the same mounting points.

Y just wanna know from what originally bike is this engine, because i want to know his specs. I'm from PerĂº (sorry the bad english) and one mechanic told me that Honda bx125 is an original "korean" bike from the Korean police, and them renew his fleet send this bikes from Peru to business.

I wanna know from what bike is originally the engine, because i wnat the specs! and motor from "honda cgl125" is rod type (OHV) has 9HP , and this "honda _?_125" is timing chain (OHC) must be more powerful with more HP, thank you!

I can tell you 100% that this engine is OHC and has a timing chain.

Look next to the sump plug, under the gear lever, what is the first line from your engine number.

Eg

Daelim CBX125

Or maybe

Honda Aero cbx150
https://images.quebarato.com.ar/T440x/honda%2Bcbx%2B150%2Baero%2Bsport%2B4%2Btempos%2Bm%2Baacute%2Bs%2Bde%2B20%2Bhasta%2B150%2B1993%2B1993%2Brosario%2Bsanta%2Bfe%2Bargentina__52934C_1.jpg

but my engine is 125 and there is mre possibilities that it could be Daelim cbx125 but my engine doesn't have 4 valves, but in this page say to me yes https://www.motorbikes.be/en/Daelim_CBX_125_1987.aspx

Daelim cbx125 doesn't have 4 valves and honda aero cbx150 doesn't too... the page's info is wrong?

this is mi bike with that engine, look
