Hi, I got a call from the solicitors saying I was getting a check for the bike but not for the expenses yet. Is this normal? I always thought you would get one big check.

In my (somewhat limited) experience you usually get a cheque for the vehicle first. Expenses will usually be paid out once all other claims (ie injuries etc) have been agreed, and it all gets paid toghether. Are you claiming for anything else? What happened?

(Sorry if this is repetition but I am a newbie remember.....)

Also, with injuries sometimes they have to wait until they've healed to decide how much to pay - eg. if you break your wrist they may want to wait to see how much movement you've lost and compensate accordingly.

Thankyou all.

No injury claim or anything like that just a sky high expenses claim like £1000+ Confused . Thats everything though, jacket, helmet, travel, bike pick up and storage, etc.
