And it's on a CB500!

Surely this is what biking is about. His bike isn't fast, but he's getting to use all of it!

I have always preferred revving the tits off a smaller machine, to feeling scared on a larger one. My opinion of course.

Plus, the roads . . . . wow!

To start with I thought he was a bit eratic with the throttle and road position, but that didn't last long. Wow, great video!

Amazing location.

Great road! Some of the riding a bit suspect though Laughing respect for thrashing a CB500 to within an inch of its life.

So he's just scraping his pegs for the sake of scraping his pegs?
It would all have been a bit quicker and maybe slightly more impressive without all that shit.

No need to feel scared if you ride smooth.

Nice setting though.

I used to ride even ''faster'' on the NC27, but then I got the ZXR and even though I got faster in real life, there's no way I could rev it up to the top all the time on a road like this one. The ZXR gets quite scary when the needle passes 10k rpm mark on the clock plus the tyres are so wide that to get the pegs to touch the tar I'd had to go like 120mph on that road. Smile

It's easy to be ''fast'' on a small bike and especially on a bike that is not made to be ridden fast. Thumbs Up

Spot on, exactly my point.

You can't rev out a 1000 on most roads, and if you aare then you are probably insane.

Revving a small bike is more satisfying.

Good ol' Schaaf. He has another one with a 360 degree floating camera on his head which is quite funky. Lucky SOB living somewhere like that!

Truth is, the entire ride could have been completed with just the first gear of all litre bikes.

But wheres the fun in that?

That CB500 looks like so much fun. Why did Honda stop making fun motorcycles. Sad
