Anyone know a trusted Suzuki dealer or workshop that can do a recall on my gsxr1000?

Cheers in advance.

Wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. Might do if they weren't though..

I would have said Aye Gee in Welling but I don't know if they are even still there.

Nor would I, but if it's a warranty job and they screw it up, they have to answer to Suzuki.

I was thinking Vauxhall, more than Greenwich. The Greenwich branch was staffed by the kind of people who had to refer to a calculator to work out 30% of £100. And yes, that actually happened.

Haha!

Greenwich is a lot nearer to me than Vauxhal.

As for Suzuki dealers, they are non existent.

https://www.ecbate.co.uk/

NEver had a bike serviced here but theyve been about for a long time and been good for parts for me. On West Hill in Dartford.

Also, if you go to Metropolis in Vauxhall you can pass some time in the gay sauna next door while they fix your bike.

EC Bate service dept are ignorant lying bastards.

When I first got my 'busa I went into FWR for tyres and the fitter spotted that I was missing a recall on my camchain tensioner. I phoned EC Bate and they refused to even look at it because I didn't have the service booklet. I argued that they didn't need the service booklet to do a recall because they just had to get on to Suzuki GB with the reg/VIN number but they said that another dealer could have done the recall and collected the money from Suzuki so if I didn't have the booklet for them to check I couldn't prove it hadn't been billed once already. No amount of arguing would sway them so I phoned Aye Gee and they had it booked in within minutes. They also had the bonus that they didn't have to remove the bodywork as it was off for painting.

If you're willing to head a few miles North of the river, Johns of Romford is my local Suzuki dealer, I'm yet to hear any horror stories and they've been around a while.
