Hi, I need to get some english legal terms for my thesis and I can't seem to find a thing on the internet, so I skip the hours of searching and ask you right away.
What do you call, in legal terms:
- the relationship between guarantor and creditor?
- when you, in order to ensure a debt, transfer your right to creditor/or 3rd. person in favour of creditor?
- when you agree on payroll deductions to ensure the debt?
- when you as a debitor admit that the debt existed?
Also please read this abstract and tell me, if it's alright, in legal and grammar way.
,,This bachelor thesis analyzes forms of assurance and affirmation of debt within new civil code, that came into effect in January 1st 2014, in comparison with the previous legislation. The thesis is focused on paragraphs 2010 to 2054 of the new civil code, with reference to the relevant legislation, that concerns the issue of assurance and affirmation of debt.''
Side note: ,,Debt'' is new term in czech law, we used to use term ,,obligation'' in this matter, but it's pretty much the same thing.
