Have a look at the Ultimate Mobiles range. I use one on my bike for my S3, which is used as GPS, MP3 player and phone. There's a variety of different mounts for the case that should allow you to find a good way of putting it on the bars, mirrors or whatever.

The case is waterproof and reasonably robust, but I'd be a bit wary of how it could be protected on the bars of the crosser for if/when you come off.

Cool thanks for reply how fast can it stand would it blow off I have Ktm 950 sm for road use don't think iphone would survive a 90mph tumble.
Don't have any windscreens to protect it from head on wind how does yours stand up.

My bike is a Divvy 900, it is in a sheltered position in the centre of the bars so I can't really say how well it'd stand up out in the wind. The tri-prong clip seems quite robust (and you can always attach a lanyard as a backup).

I'd have thought that a motorbike mirror mount would be designed to stand up to a reasonable pace, but surviving a tumble is always going to be a challenge for a bar mounted phone unless it is tucked in and protected by other bits of the bike (like the brake fluid reservoir, for example).

There are better options if you just want video, which probably cost less than a special mount.
Using it for sat nav is another matter.
It still seems risky, if you came off somewhere in a ditch you would want that phone in your inside pocket not 50 yards up the road in pieces.

Yes only want some onboard vids can't be botherd wiv gopros etc if its on my phone it's all in one place.

Looked at some brackets on ebay but you need a specific mirror and there all about 60 quid.

What the better option?

I've just ordered one of the ones from bamt's link. Cheers mate, been looking for something like that for ages.

The white one is £4 cheaper than the black one. Which is good because a) I'm not a tart, so don't care what colour it is, and b) my iPhone is white Laughing

Will let you know how it is when it arrives Thumbs Up
