Any tips? Aside from practice, obviously.

Four fingers for me.

Go to a car park and practise if you're struggling with it.

Why would you use anything less than all four fingers? Maximum control, minimum effort.

Same goes for the brakes. People spend a fortune on powerful brakes then only pull them using two fingers at the point with least leverage.

Means that can buy shorty levers that look well cool innit. (Preferably anodised in a tasteless colour)

Ahh. They sound great. I bet they must fit those to Moto GP bikes.

Whuh. Practice what? Having four fingers?

What.

I am somewhat bamboozled by this. Are you saying your clutch lever is too stiff to pull in? Because it may be that the cable has swollen, or perhaps is frayed somewhere and is catching? I honestly have no idea what you are trying to communicate. Nice work.

We teach all 4 fingers or as many will comfortably fit and explain that in the event of an accident its natural to hammer on brake and clutch and if you do not have all 4 fingers on it that lever will not stop until it contacts metal should the bike fall. It'll go through fingers with ease.

So use all 4 fingers.

The instructors I did my DAS with said the clutch lever is the length that it is for a reason so use all of it. I had a bad habit of using only 3 fingers on my front break and keeping two on the throttle. The guy told me a story of when his friend did that years ago and had a off and had the hole weight of the bike pressing down on his two trapped fingers. Yeah, I am glad to say I have changed my ways now!

A mate of mine is missing his little finger because he used this technique. Still at least he doesn't have the problem anymore!

Number of fingers on the brake depends on how heavily I need to brake. 2 for a gentle stop. 4 for a rapid stop. 8 when some dick in a Honda Jazz pulls out on me.

Fingers on the clutch - I have no idea. 3 or 4. Probably all 4, most of the time. No sure the little finger does a lot though.

I use 2 on both, I'm a proper man and my 2 fingers are plenty strong enough to put the bike on it's nose or lock the front.
