If we ask really really really nicely?

I have to admit that I do know some of the people who invaded you and they're definitely not from visordown.* They probably hate them more than you do as they have also been invaded several times!

* or at least that's not where I know them from

Based on what happened when they were here, quite a few or us reckon that they happened to be from visordown. If this is true or not remains unknown, so this can only be based on stuff they did when they were here. Two things which pointed to them being from visordown, firstly they were saying "Hi, I'm new, drinks are on me" which is a very visordown thing. (People get flamed on there if they put a post introducing themselves but not offering a virtual round of drinks Confused ) Not saying that this is a bad or wrong thing, it just suggests visordown to me. There was also people mentioning that karma is like a clique. Cliques are another very visordown thing, which is openly discussed and there are a fair few cliques on visordown.

There was also a fair few visordown people coming onto here last week after the thread mentioning about how they are using the same font as BCF uses for it's logo and stuff. A few registered then and posted their views in the thread. Couldn't find a thread on visordown tonight about them coming to try and invade here, but one of the cliques could have very easily organised it by email or PM. And their forum was offline earlier this evening so this could just have been them entertaining themselves whilst their forum was offline. Laughing Laughing

Now this does not mean that they were from visordown, as it's just a suspicion, but with no actual proof it was them, and I don't really care really.

Looking through the user list, Korn has banned some people who had joined today (the ones who were doing nothing but trying to cause trouble) so I would guess babyyam that he's allowing you to stay, as I don't recall you doing anything really.

Hmm, not sure if I should take that as a compliment or an insult!

May have to have it inscribed on my gravestone though, "she never really did anything"

See: https://www.bikersweb.tv/forum/showthread.php?threadid=13142

Interestingly enough most of the trouble makers are that forum's moderators, says a lot really Rolling Eyes

I've been to take a look at that other site. From what I can see, on a very limited browse around. I've found mostly streetfighters and choppers in the limited pictures I've seen, but then I haven't got much time to view the entire site!

Strange they felt the need to slag off people on here for riding sports bikes, when some of the people on their own R6's, ZX6R 'Ninja's' (as it's been so quickly pointed out) and other quick bikes, like the people on here do.

Sad bunch if you ask me. Especially if they're Monday nights are taken with trying to invade an internet forum!
I'm guessing that it was an 'ours is better than yours' type of argument? All for the sake of people 'advising' someone that wearing jeans on a bike is maybe a bad idea as it could result in worse injury than say, wearing protective bike clothing...hmmm

That bikerweb forum had me stumped for a while - turns out that the newest posts are on page one, so you have to read everything backwards - tsk!

Also turns out that more people than I originally thought are from there!

Guilty as charged m'lud!

However, you may find that not all of us came over with the intention of invading or causing trouble, some of us were just curious & intend to stick around for a bit if you'll have us.

And believe it or not, most of us are nice too when you get to know us. Come have a look, I promise you won't get flamed......

It doesn't matter what other forums you may have come from, it's what you post that counts. Plus it's always good to meet new genuine people. Thumbs Up

There are some on there that say they are going to build up their Karma and then 'let loose'. I'd keep an eye on them.

I don't want anyone to go and get them back though, we musn't lower ourselves! Smile

If they really haven't got anything better to do than wind us up then they need to get a life.

Also If they think that BCF consists of mainly young kids then I suggest they look at the BCF2004 video! Very Happy

"Fookin 'ell it's back to front"

Some people drive on the left, some on the right. Both feel that theirs is the best way.

Banning people just plays into their hands, the objective was achieved.

Ignoring it, or just an advisory notice might have won some converts. Very Happy

We gave advisory cautions, then advisory karma, then the Moderator got sick of all of the troublemakers!

Simple really! Very Happy
