Hi all and thanks for looking at my post,

Right so just looking to see if anyone had ever tried this before,
So my oil pump has broken on the mito the outlet pipe to carb nipple mount has snapped,
I had a look around and came across some spares in my garage and found an aprilia rs 125 oil pump from a rotax 122 engine. I compared the two and they mount exactly the same , would it work properly ? I know the aprikia pump is on other side of bike on the rs , but. don't see how this would effect because the engine is still spinning the same way ?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks again for reading

Hi

Not sure off the top of my head of how they are driven on the Mito, but on the other side of the engine the pump would be being turned the opposite way (that said, there could be an intermediate shaft to change the direction of rotation). Also likely the pump will be calibrated differently.

All the best

Keith
