This years BCF BBQ is going to be held in the lovely village of Glanamman. To be more exact it will be held on my folks 80 acre farm overlooking the whole valley:

The farm is located on top of the mountain which means it comes with benefits and issues. Please don't try shagging the sheep - only just got them used to my gentle touch... don't want you fuckers messing it up.

Lots of wood

We have endless supply of wood. I expect to see the biggest hottest most bad ass bonfire that you fuckers can manage. Yeah it's going to be a lovely one.

Secluded

Nearest neighbour is a long way out. We can makes as much noise as we like. In fact you could kill someone and they emit a curdling scream and no one will come and help

BBQ

The old man has built a BBQ out of bricks - so we should be good with food. Not sure how many BBQ's you used at other events but it's a standard size that can knock out some food pretty quick.

Parking

Plenty of room for all bikes - and a few cars. Shouldn't be an issue.

Issues:

Out of bounds

It is at my folks so we will have to stay clear of the house - they say they don't mind but it's just a matter of respect - they are doing me a favour letting me use their place so don't want to take the piss. I'm sure you will all agree.

Toilet

We will be able to use a real toilet at their house if it is really needed - but if not then the woods will be available for urination. I may be able to get the caravan toilet sorted to avoid having to trek to the house.

Farm roads

So the road leading up to the farm is single track and a little dangerous. If you're not used to country roads it may be a bit daunting. I don't really have any issue with it but it's cool.

The general area

Ok, so this is where it gets good. We are within about 1 mile of the road that the Top Gear use to test their cars. I recommend watching this video to have an idea of what it's like:

There are loads of great roads around here so it's going to be great on the area.

I can make all but one of those dates. I'd like to go this year if I can, I missed the last two. Anyway, I voted august since I'll likely be broke in July!

All of those dates are good by me.
The local roads look pretty damn awesome, and we'll also be well insulated from the local population, so can get up to damn near anything. I'd class that as a definite win.

I'd be interested in coming along to one of the BBQ's if newbies are welcome

I voted for the August dates simply as the further off it is the easier it is to get time off/less likely I book anything else last minute, but as it stands all those dates could be perfectly fine for me personally.

South Wales would be fairly easy to get to for me also

Voted for August - highly likely I'll be doing the 3 peaks challenge on 25th July so that rules that weekend out, and getting shitfaced the weekend before is not a good training plan as far as I can tell, but could do any before that.
