NO TAKING THE P*SS

so: Mrs Silky has started to go on the back of the bike.
Now I had hoped that a few 'dodgy manoeuvres ' and a little wheelie or 2 would put her off for life.
Unfortunately she loves it .. even claiming that she feels fruity after each ride . Very annoying.. but anyway I digress.

She now wants us to take the dog out on short runs along the coast etc.

Its a small border terrier (almost Jack Russell size).

Is this legal ?
How is it best done ?

Kinds Regards,
Silky No Balls

yes ... Mrs Silky being a dog lover would not allow me to torture the rat type thing.

Doggles look like the way ahead also.
And a backpack with securing strap/carabiner setup. Thumbs Up

I will of course get embarrassing shots of me looking like a total c*nt. Embarassed

Look on youtube - any number of different ways to do it.

An old mate of mine cut a hole in a top box so his Jack Russell could come along for the ride

Can't wait to hear what happens the first time you ride past a cricket green or golf course.

That other thread prolly has Mouse and Molly's side car (I'm sure I've posted it before!) ... so I will post a different non-Mouse'n'Molly one this time.

I once saw a dog in a plastic box type thing, it was on the back of a bike like a topbox.

It made me laugh.

There was a bloke in NZ who used to take his cat out with him. If I remember correctly the cat had goggles and some sort of helmet. Sadly, they were both killed in a crash a few years ago.

Would be scared shitless of the dog trying to make a break for it if it saw a rabbit/pheasant/other dog at the side of the road!

Typing into an old thread but...

Baglux do dog carriers - see here

https://www.baglux.co.uk/resizers/default.aspx?type=1&img=4896B1.jpg&r=1&w=341&h=378

Only by the time you have the tank cover and bag it's not the cheapest option out there. Upside is you have a tank cover and can swap tank bags.

It's very common in rural Australia to train your dog to jump up on to the pack of a pick up truck. Often they don't bother to train them. Heard a LOT of jumping stories... so I'd want him restrained.

That said, since I've been in China, I've seen at least 20 people on scooters/stepthroughs with their dog trained to sit/stand on their feet. And not small dogs either, adult retrievers!

Mad.
