Hi all and thanks for looking

Right ill give as much info as possible

I have just bought a speedfight 50 2004 which i believe is air cooled due to the apparent lack of water resorvoir.

It did run as it went to the garage and had mot etc , it then sat for a few months and did nothing and the battery discharged itself and wont recharge ( pron dropped cells as stood for so long )
Right, new battery purchased and charged with plenty of just , now when i turn on the ignition i get no dash lights not even the immobilser light ( it doesnt flash etc )
no lights at all , indicators wotks as do the horn , no headlights and nothing happens when you click the electric start.

I have no power going to the started switch either but voltage coming from ignition key and into cdi black wire which goes off with ignition.

I have only the black key and yes mine has the imobilser ring on the ignition however I thought if an imobilsor problem i would get the flashing light on the dash ?

( if I had known about the lack of red key I would have walked away ) but stuck now and would make an interesting project if i can get it started.

More than happy to replace the cdi with a bypass unit if this may be the problem just unsure with the lack of power/lights etc.

the cdi is an aci100

any help appreciated in advance

jon
