I was looking at ebay and came across this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-Seat-Tail-Bag-for-HYOSUNG-GT650-GT650R-GT250-GT250R-/271405903821?ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:GB:3160

if it works and isn't a pain it would be awesome...
Has anyone got/seen one of these before?

Nope, never seen that before. It looks pretty pimp, although I wouldn't want to use it for anything but the most casual, small loads.

I like it. Could come in handy for storing lunch etc.

Like Roger. I wouldnt trust it for anything heavy like shopping runs etc.

Alas. I have a single seat unit.

Yea I was thinking it would be perfect for a jumper and a couple of sandwiches. It just seems like a low-hassle tank bag. £40 though Confused

I wouldn't have such a valuable load in that bag Shocked they could blow away or something. I'd have them nice and safe in the tank bag Wink

Some years ago you could get seat hump style 'bags' (though they were solid I think) which aped the late 90s Suzuki styles, but could go over a standard seat I believe.

Good point. In retrospect I can't believe I made such a reckless suggestion.

If I had one I would probably rig it up with powerful springs and a remote control and use it to eject annoying pillions off my bike.

I have just picked up something similar off ebay, it doesn't fold flat but zips off. The mount it attached under the seat and stays in place and the bag zips on, for anything heavy there are loops to attached bungees to. Its made by Bagster.

Yes, but with the fixings fitted to the bike making using it very easy, and not affecting the pilly seat when its not fitted. I couldn't find other tail packs like this.

I bet they thought about making the pack with a hard plastic single seat cowl on top, then realised most bikes would look odd with a black single seat cowl and had to go with a faux seat instead since that matches everything.

Pretty old idea.. mainly as an alternative bag for those sports bike riders who don't like the idea of tank bags and a top case isn't available or even if it were - isn't wanted. takes all sorts I guess.

Sooner or later opinions fade and the name on the tank matters not. I think that happens somewhere between 3rd and 4th gear. Enjoy the ride... everything else takes care of itself.

Mine has also got backpack straps, so if you do take a pillion, they can always wear it as a backpack.
