I have read the guides on the internet and measured out the distances on my back yard and made an alignment setup for the dipped beam. It's aligned all well etc but what about the high beam.

The bike is a 2004 Bandit 1200s with the twin lamps, one for dipped beam and one for high beam.

So does the high beam need aligning? If so how? Is it a case of just getting the furthest beam possible from the lamp to see as much as possible?

I've just converted to hid so it's important these lamps are aligned correctly so I don't blind folk

The high beam isn't tested on the MOT in terms of balance / alignment.

Adjust so that it gives the maximum throw of light down the road, ultimately, no-one else should be blinded by it because you dip it (presumably? Laughing ) when another vehicle is likely to be blinded by it anyway (i.e coming the other way!).
