The number of flashes indicates the fault code, you'll need someone with a Haynes manual at least to let you know what it's whining about. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

It should flash in a sequence when you turn the ignition on, I believe with the side-stand down.
Unfortunately, I can't find a list of the fault codes sequences, but Section 4 of the Haynes manual apparently lists them.
Sorry, that's not much help, but I agree with the advice to just ride it until it actually exhibits a problem. For all we know, that could be an "Error in error code reporting system" code. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Yeah, put it on the centre stand, put the key in and turn to on, no mead to turn engine on. Flick the side stand down and count the flashes.
You'll get short flashes (0.5 seconds) and long flashes (1.3 seconds). You will need to count them to work out the fault. ____________________ No matter how fast light travels, darkness was always their first. |
