Came to the A5 A43 roundabout just north of Towchester today at about 12.30 and noticed a big spill al the way around the roundabout from the petrol station to the A43 Northampton bound. So I pulled over as soon as I could and phoned the police non emergency number and reported it. When I came back a few hours later it had all been cleaned up.

5 minutes out of my life, may have saved a biker a nasty spill.

Not looking for a pat on the back, just wanted to let you know that reporting spills seems to work, at least in Northampton

Cheers All!

Yup, I have reported plenty. All seem to have been dealt with quickly enough. Thumbs Up

I can never understand how a business doesn't notice that one of their trucks/lorries/buses runs out of diesel very quickly............

You'd be surprised just how little diesel you need to paint a skiddy rainbow. Most of the time it's a cap not put on, and I'd bet when the driver sees what a cockend he's been, he'll cover his tracks smartish.

Yeah, they're pretty good on getting it cleaned up over here too.

The police are also pretty good on rounding up loose sheep in the road aswell but the again, they've not got much else to do here.
