It looks like a very expensive launch, there is a shower of metal coming off the bike when it comes down. A great shame as it was a beautiful machine.

Dave's early systems were home made, but I don't know what's on the bike now. Gotta be some bent-up parts there now if not busted cases. They only have 50mm ground clearance anyway.

rider (Dave Smith) got a broken wrist for his troubles too.

It's more like a case of big balls, big bike and bigger still blower resulting in big wheelie, almost a foregone conclusion with that recipe TBH! Laughing
