Can you upload pictures to this site?

I can find the 'user attachment panel' but I don't get how I get images in that?

EDIT: doh! I think I just answered my own question - add them as an attachment to a post, yes? Although that does mean I have to submit a post just to upload a pic? OK, confused again...

To post images you need to wrap the location of the image using tags.

Code:
[img]http://www.imagehost.com/image.jpg[/img]


You can upload images to BCF, then right lick on the link for the image and place it between the

[img]xxxxxxx[/img]
tags.

I know about the tags - how do you do the upload bit?

The problem with URLs is that it's difficult to get them using Android devices - I upload my pics to Picasa but, on Android, I can't seem to get the image URL (you can't right-click on a touchscreen Confused )

On my android devices you just touch and hold the address in the address bar when you have the image open and it gives you the option to copy/cut. Then hold the screen in the message window to paste.

When you upload like you have if you right click or otherwise get image properties, i.e. the file name (display image and then get the url).

Then this (ignore the code section, that's just to show how you use img tags)...
Code:

[img]http://www.bikechatforums.com/download.php?id=92267[/img]

Where the url between the img tags is the one for the image

When you put that in your post it results in...
https://www.bikechatforums.com/download.php?id=92267

Or the filename jpg url between the image tags is from wherever you uploaded the image from.

There has to be a minimum of 5 characters in a post before it can be submitted.

You can already upload pics, i can see the attachments in your 1st post.

To show those images in the post you need to use the link supplied by the "download" link on the right hand side.

you can type anything in the box, then click add attachment, upload the image, get the link, replace the random text you entered with the img tags and the link.

its not rocket science, son.

Yes but to add an attachment, i had to reply to something or create a thread. Can i not upload without attaching to a reply?
