New Biker needs help.....

Dear all

i am a new biker so new that i am taking my lessons now.. I am going to buy my friends ER5. I would like to change the appearance of the bike. respray, remove the fairing, new exhaust system and so on. I Just don't know were to start.....

Any help would be fantastic.. like what sites to look at and costs..
