The article is a bit confusing, KTM already had the 690cc engine in last years SMC-R so the only new things really are stickers and ABS. The price is now an eye watering £7,899 I think the old 2012 SMC model retailed for £6,799.

Price is Obscene. The greedy orange gits!

Cements my decision to stick with my '11 650 for a good while longer. Although, that SM biased ABS sounds usefully interesting. Could do with that when farmers muddy'd up the twistes.

Apparently it's got the whole twin spark thing, so they reckon 80 MPG That is impressive.

All that stuff sounds like it'd be nice in the Enduro-R; definitely the fuel economy.
Prefer my sports bikes for commuting and it's commuting I'd more want ABS for, so less bothered by that.

Not so the price - now about a third more than I paid for mine!

Price sounds horrendous on its own, however times are changing and quite a few enduro models from various manufacturers are creeping past the 7k figure.
