When I used the search function and could'nt find any words of wisdom on here about this helmet i thought i would share my brief experience.

https://www.racevisors.co.uk/product/Caberg-tourmax-helmet-matt-black

currently have Shoei XR1000 for fun days and a Caberg Konda for the commute. I found the konda to be cheap but functional, noisy and a little on the flimsy side, however more than up to the job i needed it for. the one thing i wish it had come with as std was a Pinlock insert.

Enter the Tourmax, konda was getting on a bit and was up for replacement so went to the local kit shop for a look see. first impressions were its better built and feels more of a quality product in the hand, flip side is it feels quite heavy and at over 1800g's its not light, however its not so heavy that its uncomfortable. The flip up mechanism and lock feel very solid although when the front is locked up the unlock clip can be a pain in gloves, maybe practice will make perfect we'll see.

looks are subjective but i personally think its a really good looking lid, if its a dual sport helmet your after anyway.

on the bike its significantly quieter than the Konda although not as quiet as the Shoei, my personal preference is ear plugs so i'm not that bothered although i will say that the shoei is not significantly quiter and thats a ful face lid. Wind buffeting is good considering the peak but when you do twist the loud grip alot it does increase with speed but not so much that its a real negative and if i'm honest i had to go looking for the higher speeds to make it noticeable.

in summary considering the price i think its been a good buy for what i need, i think there are better helmets out there but you'll pay the pennies for a not massively significant increase in performance.
