Typical tracksuit scummer

Personally if that were me on that bike, I'd have got off, knocked the crap out of him, stuck the rear tyre on his face and burn-outed his eyebrows off........ (actually I'd have just ridden off through the lights at the first sign of trouble.

Yes. I did just that a couple of weeks ago when two of Glasgow's best afternoon pissheads started shuffling towards me, slurring "Bikey! Hey, bikey! Biiikeyyy!"

I wasn't minded to wait around to find out what hilarious hijinks they had in mind.

That armoured glove I wear would have flattened the bastards nose. Failing that dumped the clutch and ran him over then used my boots and gloves to make sure his food is fed to him through a straw for the rest of his life.

Not really worth doing anything in that situation. Gang of lads Vs. you on your bike... yes you could get off and try and dish out some pain and it might work and the rest run off but on the other hand, you may get a kicking yourself and worst off, your bike stolen/damaged.

Personally would have ridden off too, as cheeky as that cunt was.

He didn't look like a fighter, I'd have ridden off, or gone for the slap as soon as he started staring at the keys. His mates didn't look like fighters either.

Armours gloves against his nose?

I'm not arsed about taking a few punches or throwing a few but I would be more concerned about potential damage to my bike than anything else.

Me too, would have been hilarious if it was on a hack that he wasn't too fussed about.

Would have just ridden off making sure an armoured knuckle or a toe capped boot went through him at the same time.

Then taken footage to the police and hoped they could use it to cause the scum some grief

Sure except the rest of the gang would have set on you... if you survived you would be the one charged with assault and battery.

As it is more profitable for the CPS to prosecute you than them.

That would probably leave me completely dumbstruck if it happened to me. It wasn't an attempted robbery, it wasn't violent enough, I reckon the guy was just trying to nick the keys so he could be a complete dick to the rider, who he assumed would have to get off his bike and follow them to beg for the keys back or fight them.

What a tosser. The thing that upsets me most is that anyone thinks it's ok to do a thing like that. It just doesn't make any sense.

I agree he tried to nick the keys then do a "What you gunna do about it" thing in front of his mates. Could have all kicked off there, rider was a bit lucky.

From prior experience, it's rather hard to hit a pedestrian without destabilizing the bike, particularly if the front wheel and / or handlebars are involved.

I wouldn't take my chances in retaining control.

OK, but why did we need 30 seconds of intro and outro graphics?

Indeed I did. It was after 3pm, my brain had settled down to a serious bout of clock-watching. Embarassed

Yep, had a similar situation not long after I'd passed my test. I left when he got to where this prick was at about 0:28 in the video. You walk towards me with what looks like intent to do something I don't like, I'm fucking off.

SP? For Speeding?

I would refuse to pay and take the issue to court, armed with the video evidence, stating that I felt myself and my property were at risk and that I took necessary care and attention when proceeding through the red light.

Preemptively going to the cops with the video and explaining and allowing them to see for themselves, I don't think many of them would pursue a traffic light offence, the vast majority of coppers I have dealt with are more reasonable than that, providing you are reasonable with them.

I just can't believe he let the lad stand there and figure out where the ignition was without so much as a "who the fuck do you think you are sunshine"

Decent people don't tend to expect the worst from others.

If you inflicted the Throat Punch of Justice on everyone who approached you with a smile on their ratface, you'd be Warped in a bit of a pickle.

I'm rather grateful to my recent drunken admirers for telegraphing their nefarious intentions, otherwise I'd have assumed that they were just crossing the road.
