Well, shortly after purchasing a baby 125 last June I was shipped off with work to a middle-eastern hot and sandy location.

After a somewhat tense tour, I made it back in one piece (just about) at the end of last year and am now out of the forces and living the civilian life of Riley. It's a different life, that's for sure but I'm now looking forward to a summer of buzzing around on the 125 and getting my biking blood back to a decent temperature before hopefully getting another 600 next year.

Just thought I'd make it known I'm still alive, just in case anyone at all out there was wondering! Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up

I can see the headlines now

'Survives Operation Desert Storm against all odds as heavily armed special forces trained insurgents surround him | Killed on the A50 just outside Leicester by Granma Rogers, aged 72, using a finely tuned Nissan Micra'

Welcome back Thumbs Up

That's no joke....
Family lore recounts how one of my Uncles survived most of the Major Campaigns of WWII, then after doing his 'special training' in 1944 was killed on a motorbike coming back at the end of his leave to visit his mum!
