hey all.

I have a NS125RK which has recently had a new barrel + piston, fine tank, fine carbs etc. It has aroun 150 miles from this work bein done and am still running it around 6000 rpm.

But, i have a problem
When riding it does not feel smooth what so ever especially in the revs i am using 0 - 6000, it is fine when i accelerate and is really smooth then btu using constant same amount of throttle it feels liek it is gently kangerooing.

Im wonderig if its any electrical part as the mechanics are fine. could it be the coil?

Cheers for any help

Ben

Hi

Sounding like a stuck record with this one, but I suspect the plug is just not enjoying running in. Once you can thrash it again it should be fine

All the best

That kangerooing is your motor four stroking on part throttle. most strokers do this to some extent, some are worse that others. My m8 once had a Yam 350LC with swarbrick pipes, and it was terrible in town. It pulled away from low revs, but had a huge flat spot between 5-6k and shuddered and crackled along till it picked up again, It sounded like a metal dustbin being shaken full of nails.
