I don't get it. Like Rhyno, I know about old stuff that was obsolete or obsolescent when I was little, and find it fascinating how stuff was done in the old days. I remember going to a classic car show and seeing one that had a 45 player attached to the radio:

I've seen cylinders and music boxes that take huge discs and think it's great.

But yeah, the whole series of videos wouldn't work well if every kid was like that girl who almost immediately realized what it was and knew how it worked. I find the 'seniors react to...' is better, if only because so many of them don't give the desired (shock) reaction that the obnoxious video makers hoped for.
