Probably wrong section, incoming karma rape.

Saw this, might be worth going for giving the discount..

Thumbs Up

I noticed these too.

Are they actually any good?

I'm always dubious of wowcher deals.

Also motorcycle related on WowCher now is 50% off National Motorcycle Museum tickets (it's in Solihull, B'ham). Voucher valid to 21 August 2014. One day 8 hours remaining on offer at time of post.

That's about as real as the DFS sale. I guarantee that camera has never been £149.

In fact, a quick google takes me here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Foxnovo%C2%AE-2-0-inch-Waterproof-Digital-Camcorder/dp/B00GZHIUPY

Same camera, cheaper than the Wowcher price, and includes a 32GB card.

I wouldn't put any money there way - stupid fucking adverts .. they're desperate for saying their name to become a trend.

Thankfully most people seem to have ignored them.

its arrived this morning. Yet to take it out on a run to see what the recording capabilities are like but the screen on it is pretty woeful and the touch sensitivity is just awful.

As you would expect for a sub £40 HD camera the finish on it is pretty poor - it doesn't feel well put together at all - and the SD card is a non-brand jobby

On the flip side the waterproof case - although bulky looks to be pretty well put together.

Got a good test for it tonight, driving home from work in the cage - in the dark!

Hard to tell how good it really is but looks fairly OK judging by that video (night time & smeared windscreen impairing it). Thank you for posting the video.

I really liked the music.

Well, night-time is a challenge for small cameras and I think it coped pretty well with it so I am actually quite pleased with my purchase.

Watching it again on YT it seems they have compressed it to 360p which is a PITA but I'm gonna be quite happy to strap it to the front of the bike

That's pretty good, my mate paid £16 just for a 32gb card today.

So, done another one today

I'm less impressed with its daytime prowess tbh. I do wonder if it would be better if I did helmet mount rather than on the bars.

Looks pretty poor, although on the far left looks pretty sharp.

May have to have a play with the settings.

Looks like image stabilisation or correction doing overtime. Perhaps it would improve with a more stable form of mounting?

Almost seems like it's focusing too close, is there any option to turn the lens or adjust it otherwise?
Those SJ4000 or SJ1000 are about the best budget ones - a bit more than that admittedly. The little Mobius one is good too.

Hi, have you tested it on a helmet?

Just wondering, as I was after a cheap helmet cam to get my crashes recorded. Laughing

My mate won't let me borrow his go-pro for some reason.
