Just picked up a reasonable Alpinestars leather jacket off ebay. However the seller is obviously a bit of a dirty sod, it's covered in flies and specks of dirt, which fair enough should all just wipe off. But it totally sticks of fags, not just a faint whiff, but enough to make our house stink on opening the parcel. Yuck! Nice of the seller to omit this from his ebay listing...
Anyhow, any tips/tricks on giving the jacket a damned good clean and removing the stink? ____________________ Beginner Biker Adventures Blog

I had a SH leather jacket that was very musty, 2 bottles of Fabreeze and several days in the garden sorted it. I went to my local dry cleaner, he is a nice guy and we are quite friendly so I know he wasn't trying to rip me off when he said it would be £50 to get it cleaned ____________________ Well, you know what they say. Skudd:- Perhaps she just thinks you are a window licker and is being nice just in case she becomes another Jill Dando.
WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything. |
