Hearing gossip in my street (quite close to the A13) of [?quite a bad] motorbike crash last night - so am just checking in to make sure my East London mateys are still okay?

Ooooh, that's what I passed last night!

The cleanup looked quite major, two lanes closed, lots of road area being cleaned.

I passed what looked like a Maxi-scooter down on the A13 East bound last night, about 5:30pm ish, between Beckton & North circular exits. Someone on floor, with someone else holding their head after what looked like standard helmet removal technique. Didn't look good, police and fire van were in attendance and I followed an ambulance trying to get through to them. Another biker had stopped and was helping. No idea who was involved, only hope they were all ok.
