I tried a little ride after 2 days but would advise against it. So distracted by pain and concentrating on keeping away from the tank, I made 2 silly errors. I pulled out in front of a car and 2 mins later, I nearly rode into the back of a slow moving car.
When you can move about comfortably is the time. Rest now or risk swelling!

I'd give it a week. Take it easy in bed for a couple of days.
We figured 5 kids was enough ____________________ Licence: Nov 2012, Bikes: Suzuki GN125, Moto Guzzi Strada 750, Triumph Sprint ST 955i x 2

haha cheers for the advice guys, although i dont think ill be donning the tassled chaps required to ride a virago any time soon...
3 kids is enough for me, any more an id never get out on the bloody bike!!
As far as pain and swelling go, im actually not feeling too bad today, will have to wait and see how i feel on friday!
cauterizing iron felt interesting, but not as bad as the first side, he didnt use enough anaesthetic, and i could feel the incisions which was a tad unpleasant to say the least. ____________________ Current: 99 Yamaha Thuundercat
