I tried a little ride after 2 days but would advise against it. So distracted by pain and concentrating on keeping away from the tank, I made 2 silly errors. I pulled out in front of a car and 2 mins later, I nearly rode into the back of a slow moving car.

When you can move about comfortably is the time. Rest now or risk swelling!

Sorry to hear this. I couldn't imagine having to deal with it- I hope you aren't in too much pain and that you get riding again soon!

(Edit: "riding again" is probably a poor choice in words)

We figured 5 kids was enough

haha cheers for the advice guys, although i dont think ill be donning the tassled chaps required to ride a virago any time soon... Embarassed

3 kids is enough for me, any more an id never get out on the bloody bike!! Laughing

As far as pain and swelling go, im actually not feeling too bad today, will have to wait and see how i feel on friday!

cauterizing iron felt interesting, but not as bad as the first side, he didnt use enough anaesthetic, and i could feel the incisions which was a tad unpleasant to say the least.

It felt like they were pushing one end of the tubes down by my socks and the other up my body somewhere as far apart as possible. Also disconcerting having two women chatting about horses, shopping etc while messing about with your shaven tackle.

whats sex like after? Do you get the same reaction at the end?

The GF wants me to have the snip, as we have 6 kids between us.

Not sure how I feel about it.

Unchanged, actually better as there's no worries about contraception (although there's a period after the op during which you can still conceive). Psychologically, I did feel a pang that making babies was one thing I seemed really good at, but no more ...

You having a minor op is a far better option than her having to do something more drastic.

And an arguably more enjoyable one, if I may thusly vouchsafe.

Bloke down the pub says with hospitals being what they are these days, there's always a bit of infection incurred. This invariably means that vasectomy patients often spend several weeks ejaculating a thin gruel of blood and pus - so no tit wanks until you're sure it's all good and healed. Don't wanna money-shot stinking matter and blood, I wouldn't have thought. Then again this is BCF. You'll have to excuse me - I do sometimes forget where I am. Mr. Green
