All I know is that he made a full recovery.

And I think it was filmed on a gopro.

I can't think of any defence for his riding at all. Rolling Eyes

Weather is perfect, road is wide, visibility excellent, car is maintaining a steady speed. Utter moron.

I don't know about you guys, but I tend to look forward most of the time when riding. All the time when things are coming at me at like 60m/s.

Looked a lot slower than 140 to me.

Those 'boink' noises as he bounced along the road were hilarious though Laughing

Observation level - cager

Do American sportsbike owners do anything other than go fast in straight lines all day? and not very well at that

I've seen around 6 or 7 different sources on Facebook now, including news websites... sure you'll find it if you search 140mph biker crash

They can not use the front brake, so going fast on a twisty road is out of debate. Thumbs Up

Check this old 'murican video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ED8BfPtaTw

Lucky the guy who filmed it isn't too.

I know we always have the speed arguments with Go-Pro's but that certainly doesn't look like 140mph. The fact his mate is leaning up out of the screen fairly comfortably as a starter for ten. I guess if he's too much of a dick to see the car he's ploughing through the back of then to expect him to have even checked his speedo is somewhat of a joke.
