I have an agressor xc3. It has different forks to the one linked, and doesn't have the updated gears etc but I like mine, it's a good all rounder.

I don't know much about the Giant (or bikes in general), but would say it looks nicer than the GT.

For reference I got my GT for £145 a few months ago, and mine was mint, only ridden once or twice and still had reflectors and stickers on!

Not much help I know.

Neither of them say what size the frame is and that's pretty much the first thing you need to know about the bikes.

I reckon the GT is better spec. The rusty bolts on the Giant would suggest to me that it's been stored outside.

What do you want the bike for? The tyres on the GT will make it hard work to ride on tarmac and for general offroad use they're overkill IMO.

Any particular reason why you've narrowed your search down to those two bikes?

I'm just after something to go blast through some woods on

Only reason I linked those is budget ha don't really want to spend more than 250

Why does the GT have handler bars worth more than the forks Laughing

Both of these bikes are going to be 8 years old or thereabouts, Ste's rust call on the Giant is spot on as you'll likely find the various bearings will also be just as bad.

Whilst I loathe that frame, the GT is better specced with a more proven group set. Also note that if those tyres are soft compound ignitors, they will get chewed up sharpish if you start doing mileage on tarmac.

*edit* going by the levers, that GT is going to be newer as well. 6 years at worst I think.
