Only had it a week, all running great until today. Only thing I've done is ACF it and remove the akrapovic sound reducer things.

It revs freely to the redline but when driving along at a sustained speed every now and then I'll just lose all power for half a second and it just generally doesn't feel as smooth. Makes for a scary ride when doing tighter corners.

Got a full akra system and a power commander.

Only has 13k miles, should I just start by replacing the fuel filter?
I'll check that the sidestand switch isn't flakey first though.

For anyone searching the same problem I replaced the filter and all seems good so far.

Except.....I left the tank upside and some petrol poured out and has made quite a bit of the lacquer peel off....

Possible to just spot apply more?

Why on earth do people leave tanks upside down?

It's always better to scratch the top of the tank. If you scratch the bottom you will see it next time you turn it upside down.

I thought it was empty and it balanced easier haha!
And it makes getting the pump and filter out from the bottom more manageable.
