Then I pity its next owner. Sad

Searched for "Radcliffe Superbikes", clicked on the link to this thread. Up the page ranking we go.

Where have you got this information from?

Can't find 'Radcliffe Superbikes' anywhere on the net but in this thread.

The postcode doesn't exist and Radcliffe Road is in Bury, not Radcliffe.

Bikeonic still appears to be trading as usual from the same address on Bury Road https://bikeonic.com/ Confused

Seriously thanks, i was all set to go down Bike Onic with a wedge of cash to buy a bike.

Now the question is, where do you guys recommend buying used bikes from in the bolton/north manchester area?

Im thinking now the safest option is just going straight to the honda dealer and getting a nearly new.

Exactly that.

Dealers don't magically get all the good bikes. You might wonder if they instead get given the dross as trade-ins. I've been offered book price based on a 30 second walk-round, without even starting it up.

I've yet to find to a dealer that I'd consider both trustyworthy and reasonably priced. The one local dealer that hasn't (yet) lied to me by omission asks bonkers prices, even by dealer standards.

Get monies, go and buy a decent bike, rather than a decent story about a bike.

Thank **** I spotted this thread, guys. Like jimhuf I was ready to shoot over there cash in hand. I was linked to him from Autotrader, so that's a worry. You expect they would have checked him out.
His prices look great compared to other local dealers and the vid makes you think he must be ok if he's doing ads.
Have to look elsewhere now.

There's lots of options out there and he is a dealer not worth trusting whatsoever. There are members of this forum in that locality, if you ask nicely someone could come to view a bike with you to help you see if it's a dog or not - especially if it's your first bike.

still up for some tyre kicking sometime?

I wouldn't want to buy a bike from the chap even though I have a reasonable idea what to look out for but I'm intrigued as to what his stock looks like

I go past the shop regularly. He's a bait and switcher. He has a really good priced good looking bike out front.

Oh I'm sorry somebody just put a deposit down for that one but I do have...

Anyway if anybody wants me to go look for a bike with them I'm generally around north Manchester.

The only half decent places are:

Speedwells (but v expensive)
Warricks in Heywood but similarly expensive.

Then there is always Peter Gothard he always has a few bikes for sale as does Ged at Ace in Bolton but Ged is an optimist!
