I've removed the end can from my bike, taken it off the down pipes, but now I can't get the link pipe off the end can.
Both are stainless steel, but obviously with all the crap that comes out the engine and the numerous heat cycles, they're stuck fast.

I've sprayed a bit of plus gas in the join, twisted them opposite ways and its come off a bit but the majority of it is still on. Now it won't move anymore.

Is there an easier way of getting them apart?

Thanks,

Sounds like you're nearly there. Invest in a rubber mallet.

Find a friend willing to help.
Stand either side of the pipe.
You put right hand on silencer, left hand on link pipe.
Your friend puts left hand on silencer and right hand on link pipe.
(Alternate hands along the pipe, if you see what I mean)
Both twist the pipes apart at the same time!
Et voila!

If one person holds the link pipe with both hands and the other the silencer with both hands it is much more difficult, you will waste energy struggling against each other. Using alternate hands puts more energy into twisting!
