Me almost running over Dean when he goes down on oil from a bike blowing up:

And an on board of a full race with me, started 12th and finished 8th. First 3/4 laps and the last 2 are best in this, the middle part is me chasing down 8th.

We lost a rider at Donington in a similar incident so I'm glad I was able to avoid him.

Shocked Proper moment there!

When you are coming down from 170mph you drop 3 gears, do you use much brakes/clutch there? I'm only used to doing a gear at a time and braking upright but want to improve my track riding!

Bemsee declaration:

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE RISKS OF MOTORSPORT:
I understand that by taking part in this event I am exposed to a risk of death, becoming permanently disabled or suffering some other serious injury and I acknowledge that even in the event that negligence on the part of the ACU, any event organiser, any circuit owner, the promoter, the organising club, the venue owner, or any individual carrying out duties on their behalf were to be a contributory cause of any serious injury I may suffer, the dominant cause of any serious injury will always be my voluntary decision to take part in a high risk activity.

And you'll see these signs around MSV tracks.

Hard on the brakes initially to scrub off speed and I start going down the gears at the same time, I've modified the slipper clutch on the R6 so it's smoother which helps to keep the bike settled. I like to just 'pump' the clutch on each gear as it helps keep the revs up so when you reach the gear you need the different in rpm isn't so big. With a good slipper clutch you can be quite aggressive about it though.

Don't actually come off the brakes there until the apex of the right hander when you get it right, just easing off the pressure through the left.
